You
knew everything will be changed.

You
knew it since first second when you looked at the pregnancy test and you
noticed 2 little lines. Fucking two little lines. And who would thought it’ll
be caused only by.. wish for revenge?

It
started in completely innocent way.

You
were Captain’s girlfriend. He loved you more than his own life. He would give
you everything, only to cause a smile on your face. You had everything you
could have wanted. Your all dreams came true by his side. You was appreciated,
important, but the most important was that he loved you. He was your mainstay.
Your whole world. You both were the happiest couple. You thought nothing will
ever change it…

Unfortunately,
after sometime, his work started to cause an anxiety in you. He was always
gone, when you wanted to cuddle. He was gone, when you had your mood swings.
Only because of that fucking work! You started to blame S.H.I.E.L.D about misunderstandings
in your common relationship. Everything were annoying you. Especially his
missions.. Those long days without him by your side always made you angry, sad,
unappreciated. But everytime you wanted to talk about your anxiety with him, he
was too busy to listen once again, how much you hate his job. He was a good
man, who always wanted to help people. To serve his country and world. Sometimes,
with sadness you had to admitted, that it looked like he forgot he has a
girlfriend.

After
some time you realized that you’re spending most of your time with his best
friend, Bucky Barnes know as the Winter Soldier. He was always an enigma to you,
his story was full of different emotions, mostly sad ones. But you really liked
to listen about his adventures he gone through with Steve. And… he has shown
you his interest. In some moment he was the one who cared if you’re not in any
need when Steve was away. He even few times helped you with some silly things
in your flat. You really appreciated his effort… maybe too much.

And
finally it had happened.

You
went to a bed together. You’ve cheated on your beloved boyfriend. The most
important person in your life. One-night stand turned into something more. It lasted
almost a month. Until you haven’t realized you can’t do it anymore, because
it’s highly unfair toward Steve. And toward Bucky also. So you just stopped
meeting with him, you were trying to avoid his presence in your surroundings. But
after some time you realized one more thing. Something was wrong.

You
weren’t feeling good.  You were
constantly tired, you started to be dizzy at mornings.. no! It can’t be that!,
you were thinking to yourself. That was when you decided to make a test. And
hell, it was positive. You were pregnant. With Bucky. Your whole world almost
immediately collapsed. You couldn’t lie to Steve any longer. Soon he would
notice you were in pregnancy.

It was his second day at home. He was after
a tough mission in Russia. They found a base of Hydra and Steve had been sent
there to infiltrate that place. He succeed and now he had a week off.

“Honey, can we talk?!” He said loudly
sitting in living room.

You were in kitchen, making coffee in his favorite
mug. You felt kind of a cold knife stabbing your heart. You knew you had to
tell him the truth. Before you went to the living room with two mugs, you put
hands at your belly. It wasn’t visible yet, it was only beginning of third
month. You took few deep breaths and went there.

Steve was sitting at the couch, watching
news on TV. You placed his mug at the coffee table and you took a seat next to
him with your glass. “Yes?” you asked.

Steve gave you a brief gaze before he
spoke. “I feel there’s a distance, something strange in your behaviour.”

You let out a loud sigh. You desperately
needed to throw it all from you. “Yes.. Steve.. I don’t know what to tell you..
How to tell you..”

“Maybe start using words?” he couldn’t help
but chuckled softly. He stopped as he noticed you weren’t laughing.

“Steve. I’m pregnant” you said biting your
lips and chewing them a bit.

He blinked but smiled brightly. “It’s a
good news, honey!”

You took deep breath. “Steve..” tears started
to form in your eyes. “It’s… It’s not.. It’s not your baby…”

There was a silence for a while. He was
only looking at you with cold eyes of his. No emotion was on his face.

“Who?” Only that word left his mouth.

You swallowed, turning head at side.

“I asked you a question!” you could easily see
how mad he was.

You finally found a courage. “Bucky.”

It was a moment. You saw how his face is
changing. And when you noticed that single tear running down over his cheek,
your heart almost broke.

“S-Steve…” you whispered, covering mouth
with hand. You realized how much you have hurt him. “God… baby.. please..
forgive me!” you whimpered sadly falling down on your knees and putting your
hands at his thighs. “I’m so incredibly sorry.. I… I don’t have an explanation
for what I have done to you… to us..” You were sobbing loudly, you let yourself
to break down.

He didn’t push you away. Only tears were
falling down over his cheeks as he was looking down at you. He was motionless.
He didn’t say a single word.

You
dared to raise your head and look at those big blue eyes of his. “Oh my God,
Steve..” You couldn’t help but shivered slightly, crying even more.

It wasn’t your plan to hurt him like that.
To cause tears. To break his heart. You only wanted to be… exactly. What did
you want to achieve? It was only a wish for revenge. You wanted to have someone
who’ll adore you all time. Bucky gave have you his attention, but nothing more.
And Steve? He gave you his unconditional love.

“I’m regretting this, Steve. If I could
turn back time, I wouldn’t did this again.. I betrayed your trust. I.. I’ll
understand if you’ll decide to leave. I’m not worth your love” you mumbled
quietly, not looking into his eyes.

Suddenly you felt a familiar touch. His
hand slipped under your shivering chin and it forced you to look at him.
Straight into those blue eyes..

“Love is being with your partner through
all ups and downs. After all the difficult times we’ve made it
through, I know that it doesn’t matter what happens, you will stand by me and
always be there through the good and the bad. And the same goes to you. I won’t
never leave you. We can go through it together. You did a mistake, like
everyone. But I truly love you and nothing can change it. Nothing.”

You were looking at him, your eyes wide open.
You started to cry more, almost screaming, from mix of relief and sadness. The
man you love the most, forgave you. Just. You didn’t know how to thank him.

“Steve… I didn’t deserve..”

He didn’t let you finish this sentence. He
closed your mouth with a subtle kiss. “Shhh.. don’t think about it anymore. You
can’t take stress now. At least you’re expecting a baby.”

That night you were talking till the
midnight. You told him, what caused that you cheated on him. You were honest.
He also apologized you that he didn’t notice you may have a feeling of solitude.
At least he knew the truth. And that situation has only shown you, that you
have the greatest man by your side. Who will love you not only in good times.
But especially in a bad ones.
